Dear Lauren and Brian,
I love you and I like you. Thank you for seating me at the Elephant table. How did you know that the elephant is my spiritual animal?
I’m playing catch up and felt this wedding needs to be featured.
I remembered walking into Hidden Creek Lodge and upon seeing the animal heads on the tables I thought, “This is going to be good.” I knew the wedding was going to be good, but I was blown away at how amazing it was! Lauren and Brian knew immediately that they wanted to marry outdoors and Pine Rose cabins in Lake Arrowhead, California was the perfect backdrop for their wedding. What I love most about their wedding was that they had personalized it to a tee. Their ceremony was performed by Lauren’s uncle and was a beautiful mix of Celtic, Shamanic, and Eastern traditions. Right before the ceremony began, guests were invited to put a blessing into a Despacho, a Peruvian prayer bundle. During the ceremony Lauren and Brian were encircled with roses. Lauren’s mother and a good friend said readings including one from Rumi. The whole day was beautiful and ended with everyone on the dance floor and some people even donning the animal masks.
